The Holidays!!!

So, the holidays are over and all I have to say is ... THANK YOU!! Thank you for the great gifts given and received, time with family and friends, and now for them to be OVER!!! I love the holidays but that cowards and traffic I HATE!! Anyways I'll get off me soap box. Christmas was full of family. Christmas eve Chayse and I spent the day with my family at Grandpa Jim's, had a great Ham dinner and the Spencer's Famous Funeral Potatoes. After we ate so much we couldn't move we had to make the next stop, Jan's (Holly's mom) and The Rymer party was short and sweet the way we like them.

After all the parties were over we went home wrapped all the gifts, prepared the snacks to take with and then watched a movie, don't ask me which one I feel asleep, Chayse always says I am an old lady because I can fall asleep at the blink of an eye.

Christmas Day: Woke up around 8:00 packed up all the gifts and Bruno then headed to grandpas house. After everyone had gathered we were ready to open the presents, and all I have to say is I was more excited to give then receive. So, after everyone thought the the last gift was opened I pulled out, in my mind the best present there, my dads. I had spent many hours, with the help of Jolyn and Holly helping me tie, oh and Chayse can't forget the 1/8 of the quilt he helped with. The best quilt I have ever done is FINISHED!!!

Long Time!!....

Okay, WOW it has been a LONG time since I updated anything!

So, A LOT has happened in four in a half months. We have painted the TV room a beautiful blue and now that it is painted, its time to decorate!! Also, we finished the office, which was a pain in the butt, but it looks so GOOD! And it is nice to be able to get in there and get things done and maybe one day I will be able to convince Chayse to let me put my sewing machine in there so I don't have to have it on the dining table when I am doing a project. Which reminds me of all the things I can't wait to start: make drapes for the kitchen, the back door, and the two extra bedrooms, paint the master bedroom, tile the two bathrooms and start on a baby bedding for someone special (not me). In addition, we've got plans for the yard and can I say how excited we are for that!! It will be nice to have a GREAT yard, and its going to be the best on the street... HEE HEE!!

On top of all of the house updates, Chayse had the long awaited surgery back in October. Everything went GREAT!! The Doctor was impressed with how well he did. The Doctor also told us, it was a good thing we chose that surgery, because the other way would have missed at least five of his veins, which would of defeated the whole point of going in. So we are really glad we followed all the promptings. After we got home he was really sore and swollen for about 5 weeks, which was really hard for him (and of course me too, I hate to see him in pain, it breaks my heart). We are hoping this FINALLY works for us! But we can't do any test until February to see if it will help (of course we are hoping to get pregnant before then... hopefully).

Now, to more recent events. I am happy to say our GREATEST, BESTEST friends, Russell and Jac are home for a month!! YAY!!! We have loved having them home (even if it is for a little while). I am happy to say we aren't losers anymore, and it's nice to have people we can call to come play and they come over within minutes. On top of all that, Chayse is happy again, he has someone to play C.O.D. and go shooting with and also someone who can fix the truck. We are so LUCKY to have them as friends. They are such an amazing couple!! And great examples to us!

Now, to more depressing things. Christmas is in 15 DAYS!!! And guess what, haven't even started!! Normally I am done the first week of December, not this year. I am so not looking forward to going out with everyone who will be out shopping, GRR I hate crowds, traffic and worrying what to get people. It's WAY to stressful; it hurts my head. Oh, I guess there is one good thing with only having two weeks till Christmas Chayse and I will be starting the yearly Harry Porter marathon.

Cortney and Ammons Visit!!

So tonight we had Cortney, Ammon and the cutest baby, Brooklyn, over for dinner. We had so much fun!! It was really nice to see Cort! With them living in Cedar City, we don't see them much, so when they are in town we jump at any chance we get to see them, that way I don't miss Cort as much. Well, I have to brag a bit about how cute Brooklyn is!! Oh, and how good she is, the only time she cried was when she was hungry, other then that she just grunted every now and then. She has the most beautiful eyes so bright full of life. And her cute little fat rolls, now that is cute. With seeing the new parents and holding Brooklyn, it makes me think how much I would love to be a mommy, to have a little one to hold in my arms, to be apart of Chayse and I, oh what I would give to be a mom!
